Maximillian Arnold was one of the best players on the field for Wolfsburg on Tuesday night. He had 53 touches and a passing accuracy of 80%. The midfielder made seven defensive duels and won five of them. He was involved in three key passes in the attack as well.
Micky Van de Ven opened the scoring for Wolfsburg in the sixth minute and was brilliant at the back as well. The Dutch player contested ten duels and won six of them. He had one of the best passing accuracy rates in the match. He attempted 33 passes and completed 31 with 97% accuracy.He made five interceptions, recovered the ball six times, and won occasional loose balls as well. The 21-year-old produced a near-perfect performance and was one of the best players on the field.
Wolfsburg have gone up to the eighth position in the table and will be trying to continue their unbeaten streak when they face Hoffenheim on Saturday. Borussia Dortmund, on the other hand, is now six points behind table-toppers Bayern Munich and will be trying to win their final game before the World Cup against Borussia Monchengladbach.
