Jamal Musiala was once again at the top of his game and orchestrated the game with two assists as he became the youngest teenager to represent Bayern in 100 matches. He was pulling the strings in the midfield for the Bavarians and was a menace for Schalke’s defence. His first assist was a beautiful backheel inside the penalty box to find Serge Gnabry. The second one was a counterattack, as he ran with the ball and released Choupo-Moting at the right time.
Bayern Munich sits in first place with 34 points from 15 matches and will remain the table-toppers until at least next January. The defending champions will be looking to continue their amazing run of form after the World Cup as well. Schalke, on the other hand, is at the bottom of the league with nine points from 15 matches. They will be hoping to improve their performance for the rest of the season to avoid relegation.
