He put his experience to full use as he made some important blocks and was clean with possession too. The German defender is having an incredible season and has once again proved that age is just a number.
Borussia Dortmund scored three times in the first half and settled the match for good. Even though VfL Bochum tried to come back through some positional attacks, it all died down in front of a disciplined defensive performance from the hosts. Borussia Dortmund climbs the table with three points and is in the third position now. VFL Bochum, on the other hand, is in the 17th position.
