The deciding goal came in the final minutes, when Lukas Nmecha scored a 1-2 for Wolfsburg, with an assist by Josip Brekalo. Nmecha then completed the team’s come back.

Hertha Berlin are without points while Wolfsburg have won both their games so far, as both teams have played two games.

The last match between the teams ended in a 2-0 home win for Wolfsburg in February 2021.
