Cristiano Ronaldo’s future was something that was played out in the media all throughout the summer.

The Portuguese superstar was a player that was unhappy with what was going on at Manchester United and after a year of his second spell, he had seemingly decided he had enough of Old Trafford and could not help them change for the better.

Indeed, many were betting on sites that are listed at https://www.apostas-desportivas.org/ that he would be moving on, with a number of the world’s biggest clubs having been linked at some point.

FC Bayern were supposedly one of those teams to have thought about it however it was claimed by those at the club that he was not the type of player that they needed at the club, despite acknowledging his quality on the field.

However, it appears that they may be regretting the decision not to sign him, with reports suggesting that they could look to try and attempt to make a move for him in January.

A report by El Nacional via Daily Post has suggested that FC Bayern may be looking to try and sign him as they are concerned with the lack of goals currently being scored, especially following the departure of Robert Lewandowski to FC Barcelona.

The Bundesliga giants who have continued to dominate the league for the last decade or so are struggling this term, with Julian Nagelsmann’s side having been unable to win any of their last four league matches, with three draws and one defeat having been recorded.

Many at the club were of the opinion that Sadio Mane would have helped ease the void that Lewandowski had left, however the former Liverpool man has only registered three goals in his seven appearances thus far.

For all of their struggles in the Bundesliga so far, though, the club is doing well within UEFA Champions League competition, with the team having managed to win both of their encounters thus far.

They have defeated both Inter Milan and FC Barcelona 2-0 in each of their ties thus far and will be feeling confident that they can get a big result against Viktoria Plzen in the next two matches to be played.

Those games could be perfect for the attackers to find their shooting boots and get the ball into the back of the net, thus giving them confidence to do the same thing when they take to the field in Germany’s top football division once again.
