The Bavarians came into the game following a 3-0 victory away at Barcelona, and are genuine favourites not only to in their group but also in the entire competition. Dynamo Kyiv came into this match after they were able to hold Benfica to a goalless draw at home, but they could not stop the German club from scoring multiple goals. Julian Nagelsmann’s Bayern team won the game with a comfortable scoreline of 5-0, with a first-half brace from Robert Lewandowski and second-half goals from Gnabry, Sane and Choupo-Moting.
